The quote is from The Question of Democracy; I meant whatever it was by Maurras he was quoting. There was no citation in the Arktos edition.
Wow, I just noticed you’ve put Maurras on your schedule. Very excited to read this guy. I was captivated when Benoist quoted him as saying that democracy “consumes what previous ages have produced.”I am quite intrigued to know what he meant by this and I hope you can find that text.
Benoist wrote an article on Maurras and I’ll try to find that quote. The article is in French and I don’t think an English translation is available. I’m afraid I can’t translate a living author whose work is still under copyright.
