As a concrete example of the process described here, we can point to the Declaration of the Rights of Man, arising from the French Revolution. Article 3 says:

The principle of all sovereignty resides essentially in the nation. No body nor individual may exercise any authority which does not proceed directly from the nation.

This explicitly excludes the idea of a spiritual authority above and independent of the state. That the French Revolution was a bourgeois, and not a proletarian, revolution is revealed in the difference between the "active citizen" and "passive citizen". The rights of man applied only to active citizens: they must be male tax payers not of the servant class.

Thanks to this another review of the situation of “present”, filtered by the frame of “the castes”. Nowadays, I am wondering and so think about inner dynamics of the traditional castes. Main hierarchical structure of the four-folded castes can be seen also in layers of it, one by one. For example, when you look to the main picture of the “Brahman caste”, you can see some leaders as spiritual peaks (in arabic “kutb”), and their disciplines, and followers of that dicsiplines and so on. Similar leaders, similar sub-rules, similar following masses etc. are also can be seen in other castes. There is a big question is growing in my mind and that is “what is the nature and dynamics of being a leader in any castes?”…
